"There is no
more lovely, friendly, and charming relationship, communion,
or company than a good marriage."
Martin Luther
I don't even know where to start.....I
guess the best place to start is when we first met. We met
on a Christian matchmaking service, it was called The
Christian Connection. I read his profile, and found him to
be interesting, so I sent him a letter telling him if he
would like to talk to me please write back. Well write back
he did, and we began to take our first few steps down the
road of love. We began to write back and forth, the more I
found out about him the more I cared for him.
We moved from letter writing to chatting. We would spend
hours talking to each other. We bared our souls to one
another, we laughed together, and we cried together.
One day he told me he loved me. I was
soaring on cloud nine, but I could not tell him that I loved
him....yet. We already had a deep and caring friendship, but
I was afraid to take that step and tell him that I loved him
too. God touched me at a conference and told me; "You know
you love him, please let him know your feelings." So after
the conference was over for the evening I rushed to call
him, and I told him of my love for him.
Since the time I have met him my feelings
have grown daily. He is truly a gift from God. I never knew
that God could bring me someone who I could share all my
hopes and dreams with. He is truly my soul mate. He is
different then any man I have ever met and I will enjoy
growing old with him. This will be a marriage made in heaven
because God will be the cornerstone of our marriage.
We were married on Oct. 17, 1998 at the
Church of Grace and Peace in Tom's River, NJ. It was a
beautiful wedding and a day I will never forget.
Well it has been several years since we
were married and we are even more in love with each other
then when we married. God has blessed our marriage, and our
lives. I look with anticipation to the many years we will
have together.
Thank you God for such a
wonderful gift!!!
Please sign
