Jesus the Savior
Luk 1:68
"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel! He has taken care
of his people and has set them free.
Luk 1:69 He
has raised up a mighty Savior for us from the family of
his servant David,
Luk 1:70 just
as he promised long ago through the mouth of his holy
prophets
Act 5:30 The
God of our ancestors raised Jesus to life after you hung
him on a tree and killed him.
Act 5:31 God
has exalted to his right hand this very man as our
Leader and Savior in order to give repentance and
forgiveness of sins to Israel.
1Ti 2:3 This
is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
1Ti 2:4 who
wants all people to be saved and to come to a full
knowledge of the truth.
1Ti 2:5 There
is one God. There is also one mediator between God and
human beings-a human, Christ Jesus.
1Ti 2:6 He
gave himself as a ransom for all, a fact that was
acknowledged at the right time.
2Ti 1:9 He
saved us and called us with a holy calling, not
according to our own works but according to his own
purpose and the grace that was given to us in Christ
Jesus before time began.
2Ti 1:10 Now,
however, it has been revealed through the coming of our
Savior Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and through
the gospel has brought life and release from death into
full view.
Tit 2:11 For
the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all
people.
Tit 2:12 It
trains us to renounce ungodly living and worldly
passions so that we might live sensible, honest, and
godly lives in the present world
Tit 2:13 as we
wait for the blessed hope and the glorious appearance of
our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Tit 2:14 He
gave himself for us to set us free from every wrong and
to cleanse us so that we could be his special people who
are enthusiastic about good works.
Tit 3:4
However, In grace our Savior God appeared, His love for
mankind to make clear.
Tit 3:5 'Twas
not for deeds that we had done, But by his steadfast
love alone, He saved us through a second birth, Renewed
us by the Spirit's work,
Tit 3:6 And
poured him out upon us, too, Through Jesus Christ our
Savior true.
Tit 3:7 And
so, made right by his own grace, Eternal life we now
embrace.
1Jo 4:14 We
have seen for ourselves and can testify that the Father
has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
Jesus
the sinless Redeemer
2Co 5:21 God
had Christ, who was sinless, take our sin so that we
might receive God's approval through him.
Heb 9:14 But
Christ was sinless, and he offered himself as an eternal
and spiritual sacrifice to God. That's why his blood is
much more powerful and makes our consciences clear. Now
we can serve the living God and no longer do things that
lead to death.
Heb 9:27
Indeed, just as people are appointed to die once and
after that to be judged,
Heb 9:28 so
Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many
people. And he will appear a second time, not to deal
with sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly
wait for him.
Jesus
our Advocate and only Mediator
1Ti 2:4 He
wants all people to be saved and to learn the truth.
1Ti 2:5 There
is one God. There is also one mediator between God and
humans-a human, Christ Jesus.
1Ti 2:6 He
sacrificed himself for all people to free them from
their sins. This message is valid for every era.
1Jo 2:1 My
little children, I write these things to you so that you
may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate
with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
1Jo 2:2 And He
is the propitiation concerning our sins, and not
concerning ours only, but also concerning the sins of
all the world.
Jesus
expiates our sin
1Jo 4:9 In
this the love of God was revealed in us, because God
sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might
live through Him.
1Jo 4:10 In
this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved
us and sent His Son to be the propitiation concerning
our sins.
Jesus
finished the work of redemption
Heb 7:25 That
is why he is always able to save those who come to God
through him. He can do this because he always lives and
intercedes for them.
Heb 7:26 We
need a chief priest who is holy, innocent, pure, set
apart from sinners, and who has the highest position in
heaven.
Heb 7:27 We
need a priest who doesn't have to bring daily sacrifices
as those chief priests did. First they brought
sacrifices for their own sins, and then they brought
sacrifices for the sins of the people. Jesus brought the
sacrifice for the sins of the people once and for all
when he sacrificed himself.
Heb 10:14 With
one sacrifice he accomplished the work of setting them
apart for God forever.
Col 1:20
Through him he also reconciled all things to himself,
whether things on earth or things in heaven, thus making
peace through the blood of his cross.
His
life, death and resurrection provided the only way to be
saved
Joh
6:44 People cannot come to me unless the Father who
sent me brings them to me. I will bring these people
back to life on the last day.
Act 4:12 No
one else can save us. Indeed, we can be saved only by
the power of the one named Jesus and not by any other
person."
His
shed blood is the only remission for sins
Mat 26:28 For
this is my blood of the new covenant that is being
poured out for many people for the forgiveness of sins.
Luk 1:77 and
to give his people the knowledge of salvation through
the forgiveness of their sins.
Eph 1:5
Because of his love he had already decided to adopt us
through Jesus Christ. He freely chose to do this
Eph 1:6 so
that the kindness he had given us in his dear Son would
be praised and given glory.
Eph 1:7
Through the blood of his Son, we are set free from our
sins. God forgives our failures because of his
overflowing kindness.
Heb 9:22 In
fact, under the law almost everything is cleansed with
blood, and without the shedding of the blood there is no
forgiveness.
Heb 10:18 Now
where there is forgiveness of these sins, there is no
longer any offering for sin.
Heb 10:19
Therefore, my brothers, since we have confidence to
enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 the
new and living way that he opened for us through the
curtain (that is, through his flesh),
Heb 10:21 and
since we have a great high priest over the household of
God,
Heb 10:22 let
us continue to come near with sincere hearts in full
assurance of faith, because our hearts have been
sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies
have been washed with pure water.
Jesus
cleanses us from sin
Act 10:43 To
him all the prophets testify that everyone who believes
in him receives the forgiveness of sins through his
name."
Act 13:38 Be
it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this
man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:
Act 26:18 You
will open their eyes and turn them from darkness to
light and from Satan's control to God, so that they
might receive the forgiveness of sins and a share among
those who are sanctified by faith in me.'
Heb 1:3 He is
the reflection of God's glory and the exact likeness of
his being, and he holds everything together by his
powerful word. After he had provided a cleansing from
sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Highest
Majesty
Heb 9:13 For
if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a
heifer sprinkled on those who are unclean purifies them
with physical cleansing,
Heb 9:14 how
much more will the blood of Christ, who through the
eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God,
cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we may
serve the living God!
Col 1:22 he
has now reconciled by the death of his physical body so
that he might present you holy, blameless, and without
fault before him.
Jesus,
Head of the Church
Eph 1:8 He
poured out his kindness by giving us every kind of
wisdom and insight
Eph 1:9 when
he revealed the mystery of his plan to us. He had
decided to do this through Christ.
Eph 1:10 He
planned to bring all of history to its goal in Christ.
Then Christ would be the head of everything in heaven
and on earth.
Eph 1:22 God
has put everything under the control of Christ. He has
made Christ the head of everything for the good of the
church.
Eph 1:23 The
church is Christ's body and completes him as he fills
everything in every way.
Eph 5:23 The
husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of
the church. It is his body, and he is its Savior.
Col 1:18 He is
also the head of the church, which is his body. He is
the beginning, the first to come back to life so that he
would have first place in everything.
Jesus
the soon-coming King
Act 1:11 They
said, "Why are you men from Galilee standing here and
looking up into the sky? Jesus has been taken to heaven.
But he will come back in the same way that you have seen
him go."
Tit 2:13 as we
wait for the blessed hope and the glorious appearance of
our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Rev 3:11 I am

will take away the crown that you will be given as your
