Today, President Trump will posthumously give Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This young man, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, made such an impact on young people across our nation. We should all honor what the Lord Jesus Christ did through this young man and the things He will continue to do because of the martyrdom of a fellow Christian. I do weep for my country because of what we have become, not a country of free speech anymore, but of the mindset, "if you do not agree with the party line you are expendable."

Below, I expand on the above thoughts, please read and pray for Mr. Kirk's family and for our nation.

A Divine Perspective on Earthly Struggles

When we reflect on the impact a single life has on a nation, particularly under the guiding force of the Holy Spirit, we acknowledge a spiritual reality that transcends scientific explanation, accepted by believers on faith.
True honor belongs to the LORD, the Creator, who guides existence according to His purpose. The desire to honor those who live faithfully often coincides with periods of national distress. When faced with the perception that justice is lost or that certain people are treated as "expendable," we find that divine instruction sternly warns against oppression. The Law commands us not to pervert justice for the poor or mistreat the resident alien, recalling that Israel itself experienced being aliens in Egypt.
Remember that those who practice iniquity or live arrogantly face judgment, and the wicked will eventually be scattered and cease to live. Yet, the LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in faithful love. Those who are afflicted are encouraged to seek God, who serves as a refuge and strength in times of distress.
We should commit ourselves to obey God’s commands with a sound heart and devoted soul, walking in righteousness and justice. By doing so, we are promised that life will go well and we will receive blessing.
