I am a 32 year old wife & mother; married for 10 years to a wonderful husband; have a 16 year old daughter; my husband has a 19 year old daughter & a 15 year old son both live with their mom about 5 hours away from us. I say that I am first a wife & mother, then everything I do after that, is just that, after that!

I have been a Christian since November of 1980! My life verse is found in Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." I have literally lived my life according to this verse.

There have been times: as a young (age 15) single mom that I have fretted and stewed; while going through major changes in my career, basically giving it up; getting married; watching my daughter grow into an adult....etc...etc.... God has always brought me through with this verse! I thank him and praise Him for that!

I thank God for drawing me to Himself & for His great love for me! I thank Him that He has left a great Comforter, a Guide, and Teacher, the Holy Spirit, to help me along this journey. My heart's desire is to come to know Him more, to learn to abide in Him, to become so dependent on Him for everything, that in all I do it brings glory and honor to His name.
